Dustycorns opened in 2019 by local owner Rielle Berglund and has continued to grow. Here's what Rielle had to say about starting her business!

 

 

"I started Dustycorns while trying to decide on a new career path. I never intended for it to be more than a time filler project and it just exploded. Within weeks I hired my first employee so I guess you could say it was a happy accident. After realising its potential, I decided to run with it and now my business has grown to almost 20 employees servicing from Woolgoolga all the way to Urunga. We are a multifaceted cleaning service incorporating domestic, commercial, holiday accommodation and end of lease/ house sale cleaning and even construction cleaning. We now offer a range of services on top of standard internal cleaning including pressure cleaning, tile and grout cleaning, carpet and upholstery.

I wanted to create a space where employees had more input, could be creative and felt able to bring their real selves to work and be valued in their differences. Seeing my team develop in that environment and the awesome feedback we get from our clients as a result is what keeps me motivated".
